Marlow Sports Club is a community sports club, offering a home and facilities to a total of over 1,500 members, all from the Marlow area.
Situated along Pound Lane, we are home to 5 clubs involved in various sports and activities. These include:
• Marlow Cricket Club
• Marlow FC - Youth
• Marlow Hockey Club
• Marlow Striders and
• Marlow Tennis Club.
Pupils from Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School use the facilities on a regular basis and the Jellitots Playgroup and the Marlow Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic are also based in the clubhouse.
Now registered as a charity, our objective is to provide facilities for the sports, recreation or other leisure time in the interests of the social welfare of inhabitants of Marlow, Bucks and the surrounding area. We currently boast facilities including a very well tended cricket pitch and practise nets, four flood-lit tennis courts, four junior football pitches and a multi-purpose clubhouse and bar, including social areas, treatment and changing rooms. During the course of 2011, an all weather hockey pitch is also being built on the site.
Marlow Sports Club is managed by a board of five independent trustees, voted for by the member organisations. They oversee the use, maintenance and development of the facilities, whilst ensuring that the assets are held in trust for the benefit of all Marlow residents both now and for the future
